A lightweight inspirational read. Although Matthew Kelly oversees Dynamic Catholic, there are really only a few references to God throughout this book, and one needn't be a Christian to get something out of it. It has sort of a memoir feel about it, but Kelly leaves out many of the details to protect the innocent (or perhaps the guilty). It would have been much more engaging as a more detailed personal story, but Kelly ends up filling in the blanks with repeated inspirational aphorisms and truisms. If you're looking for a quick pick-me-up that doesn't demand too much, this book is for you. If you're seeking for answers to life's deep questions, perhaps leave it on the shelf for later.
